Recently, her students have appeared in commercials as well as hit TV shows. Her students have also been the recipients of many awards, both regionally and nationally, including "Overall High Score," "Best Choreography," & "Best Precision" to name a few.
In addition to the many awards her students have won, Gloria is proud of her international recognition, having had her students invited to perform in Italy and China.
Melissa LoGiudice (Preschool/Tiny Tots Hip Hop) after 33 years a student, she now joins our staff as a faculty member! Teaching our Tiny Dancer classes along with our Preschool & Tiny Tots Hip Hop classes, Melissa is thrilled to be part of the GFSOPA family! While a student here, she was also one of the first Dance Edition members. She is rich in history of the school! When you see her, ask her to tell you some of the stories from the early days with Miss Gloria & Miss Stefania!!
Miranda Hannon (Contemporary) is a freelance dancer, choreographer and adjudicator based in the North Jersey, New York City area. She attended Mason Gross School of the Arts as a BFA dance major, and attended the Joffrey Ballet School as a BFA dance major with a jazz and contemporary concentration. Recently, you may have seen Miranda performing as a guest solo performer for World of Dance, in Joffrey Ballet School’s “The Garden 22”, soloing her own piece “Alienated” at the PROJECT CREATE choreographers showcase, or even notice works she’s created for events and competitions around the tristate area. Additionally, she is proud to be the co-director of Art of Movement Collective, a performance company that holds classes, events and workshops across the nation. This summer, Miranda was recognized by one of the most well renowned studios in Puerto Rico, G.O.P. Dance Academy, where she was invited as a featured guest master instructor to come teach at their facility. Currently, Miranda is teaching and working on projects within the tri-state area, while also judging for Headliners Dance Championships Competition across the nation.
Jaleel McRae (Hip Hop) embarked on a quest to surround himself with like-minded artists who could elevate his craft. It was during this quest that he encountered the legendary Marquise Scott, whose influence would prove to be profound. Under his online mentorship, he delved into the mesmerizing world of animation and ventured into various street styles, driven by an unquenchable curiosity. His journey reached new heights as he found himself on the grand stage of "So You Think You Can Dance" (SYTYCD), where he showcased my artistry to the world. He has also has performed alongside musical legends such as Rakim & Lil Uzi Vert. Jaleel remains committed to pushing boundaries and sharing the magic of dance with the world.
Christan Meyer (Preschool/Lyrical/Jazz/Tap/Ballet) celebrates her 24th year as a faculty member! Christan began her dance training with Gloria and holds the honor of being one of the first "Dance Edition" members. While a member of the Dance Edition she was the recipient of many awards including "Top Soloist" at various competitions both regionally as well as nationally. Her gracefulness along with her dedication to the school makes her one of our more popular teachers! When Miss Christan is not here, she is a busy Mom to her two little chick-a-dees, Aliyah & Anthony!!
Trisha Tookmanian (Tap) comes from one talented family...and did we mention she's an incredible tapper too!! Also starting with Gloria at the age of three, Trisha's hard work and dedication in dance earned her a place in the Dance Edition.
